About us

About the company and its founder

Mumaoz Global Limited works across film and video rights trading, advertising agency services and digital marketing. The company itself is newly formed; the team's experience comes from earlier work elsewhere. We set those two out separately below.

  • Rights trading
  • Media agency
  • Digital marketing

Company profile

Who we are

Mumaoz Global Limited buys, licenses and distributes film and video content rights. We also handle social media advertising inside mainland China, TikTok advertising outside it, and consulting work on user growth and channel attribution. Our clients are mostly brands, content owners, platforms and other agencies.

We run these three together because the clients and the supplier relationships overlap. Rights work means dealing with content owners and platforms; advertising means dealing with media owners and agencies — and in practice those are often the same people. It saves clients from lining up several vendors for one job.

The company has not been trading long, so its own record is still short. Projects team members worked on previously, at MIGU Video and Fanli.com, are listed below, but those are individual track records rather than company performance. We raise this point during pricing and contracting too, so there is no misunderstanding later.

What the team brings

Three areas of experience

Rights work means judging what content is worth. Advertising means judging whether media is priced fairly. Growth work means working out the long-term return. In practice these run together on the same job.

01

Content

Coming from the platform side of video, we know what content owners and platforms each want, how scheduling works and how settlement usually runs. Judging what a title can sell for, and where, comes out of that.

02

Media

Hands-on management of media budgets in the billion-yuan range. In-feed, splash, sponsored topics and non-standard inventory — how they are priced, and the whole vendor review, negotiation and settlement process.

03

Contracts

Rights licensing and media buying are two different negotiations. Having done both, terms, risk boundaries and payment timing get settled before signing rather than patched afterwards.

Wang Xiaobin has over ten years in channel development, media buying and commercial negotiation, on both e-commerce and content platforms.

From 2017 to 2021, at MIGU Video Technology as a channel development / media / commercial specialist, responsible for MIGU Video's annual channel budget and user growth targets. Over that period the work delivered more than 200 million in cumulative user growth and managed over RMB 800 million in spend. In 2018 it also covered the integrated World Cup campaign, which is when the buy shifted from image advertising to short-form video. Alongside the campaign work came a channel attribution system, a channel user-value model and a post-campaign evaluation framework, used to judge which channels were actually worth the money.

From 2014 to 2017, at Fanli.com (Shanghai Zhongyan Information Technology) as a channel development / media specialist: over 150 million in cumulative channel user growth, 15+ media partners onboarded, 10+ agencies managed and over RMB 200 million in settled spend, with blended channel ROI holding above 5 and payback inside a year.

All of the above is work done while employed at those two companies. It is here to show professional capability, not to represent the trading performance of Mumaoz Global Limited. The company names are mentioned only to describe employment history.
